PitchIt 2.0 Business Plan Competition

MEDIA RELEASE

PitchIt! 2.0 Minto Business Plan Competition revamped. Close to
$27,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs!

Harriston, March 22, 2019:

The PitchIt! Minto Business Plan Competition started in 2012 in an effort to grow small businesses in Minto and increase awareness of the resources available. In 2019 the Town of Minto in partnership with LaunchIt Minto and our generous sponsors are proud to launch PitchIt! 2.0.

The competition continues to be geared towards entrepreneurs that wish to open, purchase, expand or
re-locate a business within the Town of Minto. New this year, we have prizing for the winner, all finalists and a pool of prizing that can be customized based on the needs of the businesses. Thanks to the support of our generous community sponsors close to $27,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded in our biggest PitchIt Business Plan Competition yet!

“After 7 years of experience with the PitchIt! Business Plan Competition in its original format we were ready to amp it up a notch and thanks to our community sponsors stepping up we are going to be able to assist more businesses in a bigger way with PitchIt 2.0” said Belinda Wick-Graham the Town of Minto’s Business & Economic Manager.

For anyone interested in entering the competition, details and application forms can be found online at www.town.minto.on.ca or at the Town of Minto Office located at 5941 Hwy 89, Harriston. Questions regarding the competition can be directed to Belinda Wick-Graham at 519-338-2511 ext. 241 or belinda@town.minto.on.ca
